Shahram M. has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Shahram started their career in 1995 as a Senior Software Engineer at Cambridge Technology Partners, where they worked on various custom built applications for Fortune 500 companies. Shahram then moved on to Oblix, where they designed and developed a Java based administration console before being acquired by Oracle.
In 1999, Shahram joined KANA as a Senior Software Architect and played a key role in developing the company's J2EE-based marketing automation software. Shahram also contributed to the company's product integration activities and technology roadmap.
In 2002, Shahram became the Director of Engineering at Enkata, where they oversaw comprehensive engineering and QA activities. Shahram also established an offshore operation in Russia and managed and mentored a multi-level technical staff. Enkata was later acquired by Pegasystems.
From 2009 to 2013, Shahram worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at NICE Ltd, where they led the development of the company's next generation Big Data Analytics platform. Shahram secured a Fortune 100 company as the first customer on a multi-million dollar ROI agreement and delivered the company's first native mobile analytics app.
In 2014, Shahram held two positions - first as the VP of Engineering at Stitch Labs, a SaaS based multi-channel Inventory Management System, where they doubled the team size and restructured engineering to align with business needs. Shahram then worked as an Independent Consultant at Engine Yard, where they worked on special projects for the SVP of Engineering before the company was acquired by Microsoft.
Most recently, Shahram has been working as the VP of Engineering at Castlight Health since 2015. In this role, they have been leading Wellbeing, Care Guidance, and QE/QA at Castlight, a SaaS based Digital Health Navigation Platform. Shahram has revamped the technology stack and implemented a CI/CD based Microservices architecture. Shahram also mentors and coaches Directors and Managers at the company.
