Andre Oliveira serves as a Senior Tax Partner at Castro Barros Sobral Gomes Advogados since June 1995 and holds the position of General Secretary of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF) while being the sole representative of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) in Brazil since 2015. At New York University, Andre Oliveira has been a member of the Practice Council for the LLM course in international tax law since 2015. Previous roles include Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Legal and Tax Committee at the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro between 2011 and 2017. Andre Oliveira also contributed to the IFA as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors between 2012 and 2016. Academic credentials include a degree from UERJ and a postgraduate course in Corporate Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, along with further studies at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).
