Kalpana Bhardwaj has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Kalpana started their career at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. as an Executive in Planning & Market Development from March 2001 to December 2003. Kalpana then worked at Avon as an Assistant Manager in Marketing, focusing on campaign management, from December 2003 to July 2005. Following that, they joined Sony Electronics as a Category Head responsible for business planning, channel operations, brand and product delivery for photo shooting and printing solutions from July 2005 to April 2007. Kalpana then worked at Vodafone, where they held multiple positions. Kalpana was the Group Product Head for Consumer Business from April 2007 to November 2011, overseeing voice, data, mobile devices, VAS, and roaming. Kalpana later became the Head of Marketing for Vodafone Business Services from November 2011 to March 2015, where they focused on budgeting, planning, forecasting, and driving business growth for B2B products such as data, cloud, analytics, IoT, and complex solutions. Their last role at Vodafone was the General Manager for Marketing Strategy and Digital Demand Generation from March 2015 to January 2019, where they integrated marketing and sales strategies for customer experience and achieved revenue targets. Currently, Kalpana works at Castrol as the Head of Digital & Data Excellence, leading digital transformation and building a long-term digital and data roadmap aligned with the business priorities of Castrol India and the global BP ecosystem.
Kalpana Bhardwaj has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. They also completed a PG Diploma in Software Engineering from Telecommunications Consultant India Ltd. Additionally, they have a Post-Graduation degree in Software Engineering from the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT).
