Lindsey Hency

Lindsey Hency started their career as a Graphic Designer at Red Letter Communications in 2007. Lindsey then worked as an Art Director at Nazarene Publishing House from 2009 to 2012. Lindsey then joined Box as a Visual Designer in 2012, followed by Resource/Ammirati, An IBM Company, where they worked as a Senior Designer from 2012 to 2016. Lindsey then worked at IBM iX as an Art Director from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Lindsey joined Dauntless as an Art Director for a brief period of time. Lindsey then moved on to University of Phoenix as a Senior UI/UX Designer from 2019 to 2020. Lindsey then worked at Casual Astronaut as a Digital Art Director from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working at Casual Astronaut as an Associate Creative Director starting in 2023.

Lindsey Hency completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Northwest Nazarene University. Their education at the university lasted from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, Lindsey has obtained certifications in Dynamic User Experience: Design and Usability from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). Lindsey acquired this certification in March 2023. Lindsey also holds certifications as a Cognitive Practitioner and an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM iX, although the specific dates of completion for these certifications are not provided.
