A Platform for Crowdsourced System Modeling

Casualware is a new kind of computing environment built to support collaborative system modeling at scale. Designed for teams, communities, and organizations facing rapid change, Casualware turns modeling into a participatory act—where systems aren’t just diagrammed, but lived, simulated, and iteratively refined by those closest to the ground.

From Static Diagrams to Living Models

Traditional system modeling is often top-down, expert-driven, and frozen in time. Casualware flips this paradigm by providing a runtime for dynamic, bottom-up modeling, where anyone can contribute real-world insights, observations, and changes through simple code or no-code inputs.

Crowdsourced Input:
Systems evolve from many perspectives. Casualware enables domain experts, frontline workers, educators, and AI to all contribute to the same model.

Modular Simulations:
Sim bots can be composed, forked, and remixed—so teams can test alternatives without starting from scratch.

Distributed Narratives:
Each bot carries its own logic, data, and memory. Simulations become ecosystems where cause and effect are emergent—not predefined.

Turn-Based Guidance:
Models update in cycles, making it possible to inspect change over time and capture “action signatures” for learning, diagnosis, or replay.

Forkable & Shareable Models:
Every simulation is a seed. Fork it, branch it, or remix it—Casualware treats system models like living documents, not locked diagrams.

Casualware transforms system modeling from an abstract, expert-only exercise into an interactive, community-driven process. It’s not just about better diagrams—it’s about building shared understanding through live, adaptive models.

When people can see and shape the systems they’re part of, they become co-designers of their future.
