Lead FX/Tech/Env Artist at Cat Daddy Games

Brandon Nobbs has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Brandon started their career as a Senior World Artist at Monolith Productions from 2006 to 2011, where they were responsible for creating and implementing high-quality environment assets. Brandon also provided technical support and guidance to the world art team and helped improve the efficiency of the art pipeline.

Afterwards, they joined Microsoft (343 Industries) in 2012 as a Technical Environment Artist for the Halo franchise. Brandon worked on Halo 4 and Halo 5, ensuring that the levels ran smoothly and met performance requirements while maintaining their artistic quality. Brandon'sresponsibilities included performance diagnostics, memory monitoring, level volume creation, and other technical art tasks. Brandon was responsible for the first two missions of Halo 4 and two DLC maps.

In 2012, Brandon co-founded aMess Games and became the Creative Director. Brandon directed the gameplay and artistic design of the studio's projects, taking care of the overall creative direction.

Most recently, Brandon worked at Cat Daddy Games from 2015 onwards as the Lead FX/Tech/Env Artist. Brandon managed a team across multiple projects, overseeing FX, technical art, and environment needs. Brandon ensured that projects stayed on track while improving the quality of the work.

Overall, Brandon Nobbs has a strong background in environment art, technical art, and creative direction, with experience in both established studios and independent game development.

Brandon Nobbs attended the University of Advancing Technology from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia.
