Technical Art Lead at Cat Daddy Games

Campion Kirkham has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as an Animator/Rigger at Hypertonic Studios. They then worked as a Barista at Top Pot Doughnuts in 2015 before transitioning to a Tech Support Agent at Xerox / Google, providing tech support for the Google Play Store. In the same year, they also worked as a Production Artist at Binj, creating design, animation, and film assets. In 2014, they worked as a 3D Animator for Black Tower Entertainment as an independent contractor.

From 2012 to 2013, Campion worked as a Kinect Tester and Test Development Assistant at Microsoft / TEKsystems, where they utilized test data to improve the movement recognition abilities of the Kinect.

In 2013, they started working on Unsolicited Artwork, planning and creating music videos for various musicians.

From 2016 to 2019, Campion worked at Exato Game Studio as a Cinematic Director, Lead Animator, and Technical Artist, where they demonstrated their animation skills while providing leadership to the animation team.

They then joined MedBridge in 2020 as a Technical Motion Graphic Artist, creating motion graphics for video lectures and patient education.

Currently, Campion works as a Technical Artist (Unreal Engine) at Cat Daddy Games, where they are responsible for learning and teaching new tools and techniques to the team, collaborating with both art and engineering departments, and creating VFX shaders and animations for UI and gameplay.

Overall, Campion Kirkham has proven expertise in animation, motion graphics, technical art, and support roles in the gaming industry and technology sector.

Campion Kirkham attended DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production Animation. Prior to that, in 2008, they briefly studied Fine Art & Animation at Bellevue College.
