Clay Williamson has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Clay currently works as a Game Designer at Cat Daddy Games since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Lead Game Designer at Microsoft from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for creating UI/UX mockups and user flows for various platforms and ensuring design documentation adhered to branding, UI, UX, and scope guidelines. Clay also had regular meetings with partners to review progress and make necessary adjustments. Before joining Microsoft, Clay worked as a Game Designer and Entrepreneur at Wedgy Games from 2016 to 2017. Clay also served as a Game Designer and Creative Director at Lumate from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they gained experience in Quality Assurance at Simutronics Corp. in 2012. Clay began their career as an Advance Video Scout at St. Louis Cardinals, where they worked from 2006 to 2012.

Clay Williamson obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Clay then pursued a Masters of Science in Education with a specialization in Kinesiology, focusing on Sports Management, at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2004 to 2006.
