Dusty Peterson has a diverse work experience in the arts and gaming industry. In 2000, Dusty worked as a 2D texture artist at Treyarch, where they created textures for video games. From 2003 to 2008, Dusty joined Monolith Productions as a 2D/3D world artist, responsible for creating environments for video games such as "Contract JACK" and "F.E.A.R." In 2008, Dusty started working as an illustrator at their own business, Art of Dusty Peterson. Around the same time, Dusty also joined Cat Daddy Games as a senior artist. In 2009, they briefly worked as a contract artist at Metal Blade Records before joining Earache Records in 2010 for a contract artist position. Lastly, in 2008, Dusty worked as a contract artist at Peaceville Records.
Dusty Peterson attended The Art Institutes from 1997 to 1999, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Industrial Design.
