Sonya Kerr currently serves as Chief Commercialisation Officer and Head of Marketing & Strategic Communications at CATAGEN LIMITED, a Net Zero Technologies company, since February 2021. Previously, Sonya was a Programme Manager for the Co-Founders & CEOs Connect Programmes at Catalyst Inc HQ from February 2017 to February 2021, where responsibilities included developing and delivering high-growth product programmes and transitioning efforts online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sonya's career also includes roles in external relations and marketing at Queen's University Belfast, and significant positions at Allstate Northern Ireland, initially as Marketing Executive and later as Head of Marketing & Communications. Early career experience includes marketing roles at South Eastern Regional College and Hilton Belfast. Sonya holds a postgraduate degree in Marketing from CIM and a BA Hons degree in Hospitality Management from Ulster University; additional professional development includes training at the William J Clinton Leadership Institute.
