Boris Greber

Boris Greber is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical sector with a robust background in research and development. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of R&D/iPSC Operations at Catalent Pharma Solutions from January 2021 to March 2025, Boris previously held the position of Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Production at Rheincell Therapeutics GmbH from January 2018 to January 2021. Earlier roles include Independent Research Group Leader at the Chemical Genomics Centre of the Max Planck Society (January 2012 - January 2017) and Senior Scientist/Project Group Leader at Max-Planck-Institut für molekulare Biomedizin (January 2008 - January 2012). Boris's academic foundation in biochemistry was established at the University of Potsdam, where a Diploma in Biochemistry was earned between January 1996 and January 2000, culminating in MSc thesis work conducted in collaboration with Kay Denyer and Alison Smith at the John Innes Centre in the UK.
