Andrew Diaz-Matos

Andrew Diaz-Matos currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Catalina Re, where responsibilities include overseeing the global operations of its insurance subsidiaries and managing the group legal function since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as General Counsel at CapSpecialty from December 2019 to July 2022, where oversight encompassed legal, compliance, claims, human resources, administration, and IT. Additionally, Andrew held various roles at The Hartford from May 2006 to December 2019, culminating in the position of Deputy General Counsel, leading legal support in numerous complex areas. Prior legal experience includes positions at IBM and White & Case LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Andrew holds a JD from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a BA in Philosophy from Boston University.
