Yuhan Gao

Yuhan Gao is an experienced actuary currently serving as a Reserving Manager at Catalina Re since December 2018, specializing in run-off reserving and asbestos modeling. Previously, Yuhan held the position of Reserving Actuary at PwC from September 2014 to October 2018, where contributions included reserve reviews for major UK P&C insurers and audits for London Market insurers, alongside various modeling projects in healthcare and corporate sectors. Earlier internships at Merrill Lynch, Towers Watson, and Accenture provided exposure to macro structuring, actuarial consulting, and technology service planning. Yuhan holds a BA Hons and MA (Cantab) in Mathematics and Management from the University of Cambridge and has developed significant technical skills in tools including VBA, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, SAS, R, and MATLAB.
