Alberto Martín Torras

Alberto Martín Torras is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in international business development and government relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Germany Office for Catalonia Trade & Investment, Alberto leads strategic initiatives in the DACH region, facilitating global expansion for Catalan companies. Previously, Alberto held key positions at Fira Barcelona, including Head of Government Relations and Head of Asia Pacific & Middle East, where significant revenue growth and successful partnerships were established. Alberto's early career involved managing editorial projects focused on the energy sector in Mexico, Colombia, and Canada, along with advisory roles in international trade. Alberto holds multiple degrees, including a BBA and MSc in Management from Esade and an MSc in International Management from Università Bocconi, complemented by executive education programs at prestigious institutions such as IESE and IMD.
