Mar Gil Cruz

Mar Gil Cruz has extensive experience in the tourism sector, holding the position of Head of Catalonia Tourist Information Centers in Barcelona and at BCN Airport since September 2000 with the Generalitat de Catalunya. In this role, Mar has focused on operational optimization and statistical analysis using Power BI and Excel to enhance visitor satisfaction and productivity. Previous positions include various roles as a Tourist Information Assistant, providing multilingual tourist information and managing stock. Mar's educational background includes a Master in Sustainable Tourism and ICT, a Degree in Tourism, and participation in the Program Women and Leadership at IESE Business School, with ongoing PhD studies at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
