Petra Fettes

Petra Fettes has extensive work experience in clinical operations and management. Petra currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations at CatalYm GmbH since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations at the same company from July 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining CatalYm GmbH, Petra worked at Isarna Therapeutics from August 2014 to April 2019. During their tenure, they served as the Head of Clinical Operations and was responsible for overseeing the Clinical Operations department, including Pharmacovigilance, Drug Supply, and Regulatory Affairs services. Petra also held the role of planning, coordinating, and supervising all operational tasks, with budget responsibility for all trials.

From March 2012 to July 2014, Petra worked at AMGEN Research Munich (formerly Micromet) as the EU Clinical Program Operations Manager and Senior Manager in Oncology. Prior to this, they held roles at Micromet GmbH, serving as the Director of Clinical Operations from April 2010 to February 2012 and as a Clinical Project Leader from April 2008 to May 2010.

Petra began their career at Organon in April 2000, where they held various positions including Product Manager in Gynecology from July 2004 to March 2008 and International Project Management, Lead-CRA, and CRA in the Department of Clinical Research from April 2000 to July 2004.

Petra Fettes first pursued their education at Ulm University from 1987 to 1994. During this period, they obtained a Diploma (M.Sc.) in Biology. Following this, they enrolled at the University Hospital of Ulm in Ulm, Germany, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Here, they earned a Dr. hum. biol. (Ph.D.) degree in Human Biology.
