Darina Armstrong

Darina Armstrong is an experienced financial professional currently serving as a Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Catalyst since January 2023. In addition, Darina is a member of the Ethics and Governance Committee at Chartered Accountants Ireland since May 2021. Previously, Darina held multiple roles at Progressive Building Society, including Chief Executive, Finance Director, Head of Finance, and Financial Accountant from September 1992 to October 2023. Darina's early career includes a position in Audit at KPMG Belfast from 1989 to 1992. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Executive Leadership from Ulster University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast, and a BA(Hons) in Accounting from Ulster University. Darina is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland since 1992.
