Eric Yabumoto

Eric Yabumoto has a diverse range of work experience in finance and analytics. Eric is currently working as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Catalyst Acoustics Group, where they are responsible for strategic planning, forecasting, and financial modeling. In their previous role at Ritchie Bros., Eric worked as a Senior Financial Analyst, leading budget and forecast processes and presenting quarterly business reviews to the leadership team. Prior to that, they served as a Finance Manager at Collegis Education, managing a higher education client portfolio and implementing financial models for business insights. Eric also has experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at McGraw-Hill Education and a Financial Analyst at Empire Today, where they focused on revenue optimization and financial analysis. Eric began their career as a Product Analyst at OfficeMax and also worked as a Broadcaster at Meridix Creative Inc., where they provided play-by-play commentary and promoted marketing initiatives for local events.

Eric Yabumoto obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategic Management and Marketing Management from Benedictine University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University - Krannert School of Management from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Business Management with a focus on Finance, Marketing, and Japanese. In 2018, they also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Lean Six Sigma Masters Program.
