Janet H.

Janet H. has extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Janet started their career at Genentech in 1995 as an Associate Director of Production Services and worked there until 2007. Janet then joined CuraGen Corporation as a Director of CMC Project Management in 2007. Janet later worked at Shire HGT as a Director of Analytical & CMC Operations from 2008 to 2011, and as a Director of Portfolio and Project Management from 2011 to 2012. Janet then joined Onyx Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director of CMC Program Management from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, Janet worked as a Program Management Consultant, providing strategic and tactical leadership in early through late stage product development. Janet is currently a Senior Director of Project Management at Catalyst Biosciences.

Janet H. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a focus on Cell Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Janet also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from John F. Kennedy University. Janet has obtained additional certifications including "Microsoft® Project 2013 Essential Training" from LinkedIn and "Conflict Resolution and Mediation" from John F. Kennedy University. Janet has also completed the "Effectiveness Coaching" program provided by New Ventures West. Janet is in the process of obtaining a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
