Ahmad Thomas

Ahmad Thomas is currently an advisor at Catalyst Housing Group. Prior to their current position, they worked as a director at Barclays Investment Bank from August 2010 to August 2020. In this role, they led the management of nearly $15 billion in public debt financings and served in regional leadership roles providing investment banking and debt capital markets advisory services for infrastructure finance, social impact, and project development strategy across multiple sectors. Thomas was also a member of the Barclays Social Innovation Facility board, where they served on an 8-member global advisory board charged with strategically aligning firm investments with sustained social and environmental impact. Ahmad was the lead banker for the Environmental Finance 2020 "Social Project Bond of the Year" and a recipient of the Barclays Global Citizenship and Diversity Award. Prior to their work at Barclays, Thomas was a legislative assistant at United States Senate from March 2005 to August 2010.
