Michele Brzezinski Silverthorn is a seasoned project manager and nonprofit consultant with extensive experience in advancing social justice and community development initiatives. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties, Michele manages a $6.15 million funding initiative for marginalized artists and cultural practitioners. Previously, Michele has held significant roles, including Program Officer at LISC San Diego, where strategies were implemented for a $5 billion rent relief program, and Project Director for the Count Me 2020 Coalition at United Way of San Diego County, leading a multi-sector outreach campaign for the 2020 Census. With a Master's degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's in City & Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Michele has demonstrated a strong commitment to nonprofit project management and community engagement throughout a diverse career that includes leadership positions at various organizations, including Alliance Healthcare Foundation and Foundation for Change.
