Alison Anderson

Alison Anderson has over 16 years of work experience in the medical and genetics field. Alison is currently employed at Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Medical Affairs Director, Neuromuscular, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, Alison served as the Associate Director, Medical Affairs Operations at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Alison worked at Asuragen as a Medical Science Liaison from December 2015 to August 2018 and as the Scientific Affairs Manager, Genetics from September 2014 to December 2015. Alison also held a role as a Senior Genetic Counselor at Integrated Genetics from October 2011 to August 2014 and as a Genetic Counselor at Pinon Perinatal, Inc. from September 2006 to September 2011. Alison's early career included a role as a Senior Genetic Coordinator at Genzyme Genetics from July 2005 to August 2006.

Alison Anderson obtained their Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor from California State University, Northridge in 2000. Alison also received the certification of Certified Genetic Counselor from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) in December 2002.
