Catalyst PT was established in February 2012 by Rhys Artridge. Fresh out of uni with an Exercise Science degree and a passion for fitness he endeavoured to create a business aimed at providing people with a quality, results based approach to personal training.

A catalyst changes the rate of a chemical reaction, catalysts are enablers. Rhys is the catalyst at Catalyst PT. He applies the basic principles of exercise science, strength and conditioning, then encourages, inspires and motivates clients to achieve their personal training goals. Programs cover 4 main areas of training: function, sport, shape and strength. Catalyst Personal Training is far more than “working out at the gym”. Rhys recognises and maximises the freedom of the natural environment for clients to incorporate training strategies in the fresh air close to home or work. The result is an accelerated level of fitness and function for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
