Dr Eleanor Smith

Dr Eleanor Smith, known as Ellie, is a developmental cognitive neuroscientist and thought leader specializing in behaviour change. Currently serving as the Director of Research for EMEA at Catalyst, Ellie integrates expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion with advanced research methodologies to explore the dynamics that shape workplace experiences. With a rich background that includes a PhD from Lancaster University, Ellie has held various roles in academia, including as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and as a Deputy Editor for the Academic Chatter Blog. Throughout her career, Dr Eleanor has focused on translating research into actionable insights, fostering inclusive practices in corporate structures, and presenting findings at numerous industry events.
