Williams-Ashley, EdD, has extensive experience in professional development and education, currently serving as the Director of Professional Development at Catapult Learning since 2007, where roles also include Professional Development Director and Professional Development Coaching Supervisor. From June 2009 to August 2013, Alia operated The Arbor Collaboration for Education, Inc., providing professional development for K-12 educators in mathematics and science. Previously, between 2005 and 2007, Alia held the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Maasai Institute Charter High School. Alia's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California (2018-2021) and a Principal License Program in School Administration from Marquette University (2005-2008), along with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University (1995-1999) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Social Policy from Northwestern University (1988-1992).
