Sangyoon Hwang

Sangyoon Hwang is an experienced professional in sports science and product support, currently serving as a Senior Product Support Technician at Catapult since November 2018. Previously, Hwang held the position of Academy Sports Scientist at AFC Wimbledon from August 2017 to October 2018 and completed internships at Simon Fraser University and Athletic Lab, focusing on strength and conditioning. A kinesiologist by training, Hwang worked at Performax Health Group and Mountainview Health and Wellness from 2013 to 2016. Early career involvement includes roles as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with Vancouver Whitecaps FC and as a player on the U-23 team participating in the Premier Development League. Hwang holds a Master of Science in Coaching/Sport Science from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Simon Fraser University.
