Steve Abercrombie

Steve Abercrombie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in performance improvement and management. Currently serving as a Performance Improvement Specialist at Catawba Corporations since July 2023, Steve has also operated as a Performance Excellence Consultant since February 2016. Prior to these roles, Steve had a significant tenure at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from June 1987 to January 2016, where responsibilities included Manager of the Process Improvement Program, Manager of the Shift Superintendent Department, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, and Technical Training Specialist. Earlier in Steve's career, positions such as Power Operations Supervisor at Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant from January 1977 to June 1987 were held. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, along with studies at Pellissippi State Community College and the Cleveland Institute of Electronics in Industrial Electronics.
