David Adams, MPA, CPRP, CPSI, serves as the Parks Manager for Catawba County Government since June 2021, overseeing planning, construction, maintenance, and community engagement for the County Parks Division. Prior to this role, David was the Recreation Supervisor with the Town of Mooresville from September 2008 to June 2021, where responsibilities included supervising staff, implementing recreation programs, achieving national accreditation, and managing substantial facility upgrades. David's career began as a Summer Camp Counselor with Iredell County Recreation. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Appalachian State University and a BS in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
