Amanda Moose has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Amanda began their career in 1999 at Catawba County Schools, where they held roles such as Media Coordinator, Instructional Technology Facilitator, and currently serves as the Director of Digital and Media Literacy. In 2002, they also worked as a Library Assistant at Catawba County Public Library. Additionally, Amanda has worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2007 to 2008 and as a Computer Skills Instructor at Catawba Valley Community College from 2006 to 2008.

Amanda Moose has a diverse education history. Amanda obtained a Graduate Certificate in Educational/Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Masters of Library Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university, which they pursued from 1997 to 2019. Amanda'sundergraduate studies were completed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History between 1993 and 1997. Amanda also holds additional certifications, including National Board Certification in Library Media Early Childhood through Young Adult, which they achieved in November 2022, and a Google Certified Educator Level 1 certification, received in May 2019.
