Maarten van der Velden

Maarten van der Velden began their work experience in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam. Maarten also served as a Tutor from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at DSW Zorgverzekeraar. In 2014, they joined Philips as a Mobile App Developer until 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Software Architect at 7scenes until May, after which they joined Catawiki as an iOS Developer. Maarten later became the iOS Platform Lead and is currently working as the Principal Engineer - iOS at Catawiki since September 2022.

Maarten van der Velden completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Spatial Planning at Wageningen University & Research from 2002 to 2005. Maarten then pursued another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Artificial Intelligence, at the University of Amsterdam from 2007 to 2010. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence again from the University of Amsterdam from 2010 to 2013.
