Marco Jansen

Marco Jansen is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in founding and guiding innovative companies. Currently serving as the Founder and CTO of LastDodo, which operates the world's largest catalogue and community for collectors, Marco has demonstrated a commitment to user-driven growth since the platform's launch in September 2008. Previously, Marco co-founded Catawiki, holding positions as Founder, Board Member, and CTO, shaping the company's strategic direction from May 2008 to May 2019, and continuing as a Board Member since October 2020. Additional roles include Agile Project Manager and Iteration Manager at ThoughtWorks, and various technical positions at Contrado, KPN Research, and Gankema Computer Centrum. Marco holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Twente and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
