Brooke Berlin is an experienced professional in investor relations currently working at Apax, where contributions include serving on the Diversity and Inclusion Council and the RISE Women’s Initiative since August 2020. Additionally, Brooke serves as a board member for Catch A Lift Fund and is part of the New York City Host Committee. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Associate and Associate at Blue Heron Research Partners between October 2018 and August 2020, and Creative Director at Saint Colette from January 2016 to October 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a focus on the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology from New York University, along with studies in Economics and Political Science at Bucknell University and training at the Investment Banking Institute in 2018.

Catch A Lift Fund
For more than a decade the Catch A Lift Fund (CAL), a national 501c3 non-profit organization, has lifted spirits and saved lives, providing U.S. military combat veterans an array of holistic and practical methods to heal the whole person—mentally, physically, and spiritually. The program helps wounded combat vets find new focus and energy by instilling in them a new, thoughtful, and healthy lifestyle founded on four core pillars: Nutrition, Fitness, Emotional Wellness, and Community. Mentors, coaches, and veteran leaders adapt the program to accommodate for individual abilities, attitudes and aspirations. Finding a personal purpose is the Catch A Lift cure for addiction, dangerous weight gain and debilitating depression. By fostering a commitment to forward movement and getting better every day, renewing personal energy, and choosing to join and serve a broader community, wounded vets find life-saving purposes that they share with others. Catch A Lift was founded in memory of Cpl. Christopher Coffland, U.S. ARMY who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009. Chris’ phrase, “I’m gonna catch a lift,” indicated he was literally heading to the gym, but more importantly, it really meant he was going to get centered, refocused and re-energized. To date, Catch A Lift has funded more than 8,600 wellness grants, providing a real, practical and profound impact to thousands of veterans and caregivers.
