Iain McDermid

Iain McDermid is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in worship leadership and technical direction. Currently serving as Worship Team Pastor, Technical Director, and Rentals Coordinator at Catch The Fire since July 2016, Iain also operates Resound Audio as a business owner since April 2021. Previous roles include Audio Technician/Stage Hand at Creative Visions, Inc. (August 2016 - August 2017), Worship & Young Adults Pastor at Catch the Fire (July 2014 - December 2015), and Assistant Director of the House of Prayer at Catch the Fire Toronto (September 2011 - August 2013). Iain's background also features experience as a Bicycle Mechanic at Riley's Cycles Ltd and a Worship Intern at St Aldates Church, along with early outdoor instructional roles at Rock UK Adventure Centres Ltd. Iain completed education at The Gryphon School in Sherborne from 1998 to 2005.
