Gustav Bjoern

Gustav Bjoern has held various roles in the real estate and investment banking industry. Gustav started their career in 2002 as the Director of Operations at Havreholm Slot, where they were responsible for revenue centers and participated in the opening of a seasonal restaurant. After that, they worked as a Consulting and Valuation Associate at HVS, providing hotel appraisals and feasibility studies.

In 2006, Gustav joined CWCapital as a Hospitality Program Manager, focusing on originating and closing debt financing for hotel assets. Gustav then moved to Aareal Bank AG in 2007, where they served as Vice President, Special Property Finance, specializing in originating and structuring debt financing for hotel properties.

Gustav later joined G.C.BJOERN as a Hotel Investment Banker, handling various investment banking tasks related to hotels. In 2014, they became the Director and Head of Hotel Investment Banking - EMEA at JLL, where they managed the EMEA hotel investment banking team and arranged debt solutions for hospitality and hospitality-related real estate assets.

From 2017 to 2021, Gustav worked at Global Asset Solutions as a Senior Investment Banker, where they focused on deal sourcing, due diligence, debt capital structuring, and managing the capital advisory client portfolio in the EU, UK, and US. Gustav then joined AGNOA Capital in 2017 as a Capital Advisor for Hotels & Real Estate.

Currently, Gustav holds the position of Director at Catella, a leading independent Pan-European Real Estate Investment Bank that specializes in real estate M&A, debt advisory, and investment management.

Gustav Bjoern attended EHL from 1998 to 2002 and completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Hospitality.
