Matthew Waters

Matthew Waters is an experienced sports journalist and editor currently serving as the Assistant Managing Editor at Legal Sports Report since June 2022, while also being the Lead Writer for national sites at Catena Media since October 2019, focusing on sports betting coverage. Prior roles include Associate Editor and Senior Writer at Fantini Research, along with freelance sports reporting. Matthew has also contributed as a Philadelphia Union beat writer at Wilmington News Journal and served in various editorial capacities at Delaware State News and The Review. Matthew began a career in journalism with an internship at Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and holds a degree from the University of Delaware.
