Asif Effendi

Asif Effendi is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in various industries, currently serving as the Global Cybersecurity Leader for Energy and Transportation at Caterpillar Inc. since September 2022. Previously, Asif held the position of Global Cybersecurity Director at GE - Baker Hughes, where responsibilities included developing strategic vision and governance for cybersecurity programs. Experience also includes roles such as Director of Cybersecurity and Availability at CHRISTUS Health, where Asif established a comprehensive information security program for a major hospital system, and CyberSecurity Program ICS Leader at ExxonMobil, where significant reductions in system vulnerabilities were achieved. Additional positions at prestigious organizations such as Citi, Pepsico, and CVS Caremark Corporation further highlight Asif's capabilities in cybersecurity architecture, compliance, and governance.
