Bernard Shim

Bernard Shim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and product management, currently serving as Product Manager for Metal Face Seals at Caterpillar Inc. since August 2008. In this role, Bernard oversees the global strategy and customer management for the Metal Face Seals business, while also leading design, engineering, and validation teams. Previously, Bernard held strategic leadership positions including President of Caterpillar Precision Seals Korea and Regional CFO for Asia Undercarriage, managing finance functions across multiple facilities. Prior experience includes key roles at GE, Allstate, and Deloitte and Touche, focusing on financial operations, technical accounting, and audit management. Bernard holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
