Madan Jalla

Madan Jalla serves as the Engineering Manager for Power Electronic Systems and Components at Caterpillar Inc. since June 2023. Prior experience includes over 13 years at Progress Rail, where Madan held roles including Manager of Locomotive Traction and Auxiliary Systems and Staff Electrical Engineer, leading teams on the design and development of traction motors and control systems. Prior to that, Madan worked as a Senior Engineer in Research & Development at Caterpillar Inc., focusing on electrical machinery for mining trucks, and as an Electrical Project Engineer at General Motors' Electro-Motive Division. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
