Moumita Paul

Moumita Paul is a skilled software and robotics engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced technologies. Currently serving as a Software Engineer III at Caterpillar Inc., Moumita leads the design and development of scalable C++/Python APIs, and implements MLOps infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Apache Spark. Previously, as a Robotics Engineer at Amazon Robotics, Moumita managed cross-functional teams to deploy innovative robotics solutions, enhancing navigation through advanced motion sensor technology. Academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on an autonomous social distancing robot, as well as tutoring high school students in math and physics. Moumita's early career involved research internships on exoskeleton design and mobility assistance. Moumita holds a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
