Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell has extensive experience in engineering and design management, currently serving as the Engineering and NPI Manager and Design Team Manager at Caterpillar Inc. since February 2003, focusing on design and configuration control for Caterpillar Defence Products in the UK and US. Previously, Scott held senior engineering roles at Perkins Engines Company Limited and GEC Alsthom, among others. Scott began a career in engineering as a Graduate Design Engineer at Leyland DAF Limited, following educational qualifications that include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science and an HNC in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Swindon College.
