Steven Shepard

Steven Shepard is a seasoned engineering professional with over three decades of experience at Caterpillar Inc., where expertise spans various roles in manufacturing and project engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer II in Quality, Steven focuses on ensuring supplier success and on-time builds through troubleshooting and collaboration. Previous roles include leadership positions and technical guidance in manufacturing project development, notably within the Surface Mining & Technology division. Steven has successfully managed large-scale projects, including a $37M cylinder block line, and holds a Blackbelt in Six Sigma DMAIC. Prior work experience includes tooling design at Production Design Associates. Steven's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design from Northern Illinois University.
