Dean Kawai

Dean Kawai has held various roles in the banking and financial industry. Dean most recently served as the SVP and Senior Loan Officer at Cathay Bank starting in June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Union Bank as a Vice President from September 2011 to September 2018. Dean also has experience at Alcentra, Inc. where they held the role of SVP from March 1999 to February 2008. Dean began their career at Mitsubishi Trust as a VP, where they worked from July 1989 to February 1999.

Dean Kawai obtained a BA in Economics with a focus on the International Area from the University of California, Los Angeles, between 1984 and 1989.
