James Ritter has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. James started their career in 1991 as a Platform Associate at Union Bank of California. James then worked as an Associate at Daiwa Bank from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they served as a VP, Entertainment & Media Finance at The Fuji Bank, Ltd. Following this, they joined Mizuho Corporate Bank as a VP, Entertainment and Media Finance, where they handled loan origination and relationship management for entertainment and media companies. In 2004, they transitioned to Premier America Credit Union and held the position of VP, Commercial Lending until 2021. Currently, they are working as a First Vice President, Relationship Manager at Cathay Bank, where they are responsible for new business development and meeting the needs of existing borrowers in the Commercial Real Estate and Construction Loans department.
James Ritter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCLA, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. James then pursued higher education at the USC Marshall School of Business, obtaining an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance from 1990 to 1993.
