Tommy Woo

Tommy Woo has a wealth of experience in the financial industry. Tommy began their career as a Senior Auditor at KPMG, LLP in 1985. Tommy then worked as an Audit Supervisor at Laventhal & Horwath, LLP from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they joined McGladrey & Pullen, LLP as a Senior Audit Manager from 1990 to 1996.

Woo transitioned to the banking sector in 1996, joining American Pacific State Bank as the SVP/CFO. During their time there, they executed a strategic plan to grow total assets by 50% and increased shareholder value by 56%.

Tommy then worked as the VP/Finance at PeopleLink, Inc from 2000 to 2002 and as the EVP/CFO at Southland Business Bank from 2002 to 2003.

Tommy'smost recent position is with Cathay Bank, where they have been the SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis since 2016. In this role, they supervise and manages various processes, including asset/liability, liquidity and capital stress testing, forecasting and budgeting, and SOX procedures.
