Jing Hong Yu

Jing Hong (James) Yu is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and advisory roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Investment at Cathay Capital since January 2021, Jing Hong has previously worked as an Associate at Macquarie Group from 2015 to 2021. Early career experiences include leadership as Energy Sector Head at the BU Finance & Investment Club Student Managed Investment Fund and internships at Macquarie Group in Equity Capital Markets and Rutberg & Company in Investment Banking. Jing Hong also gained valuable experience at Deloitte as a Management Consulting Intern, where contributions included analyzing business cases and developing forecasting models. Jing Hong commenced a foundation in finance at Rothschild as an M&A Advisory Intern and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
