Brian is an Associate at Cathay Innovation, based out of the San Francisco office.
He is responsible for screening, evaluating, and executing potential Cathay Innovation investments, as well as post-investment monitoring.
Prior to joining Cathay Innovation, Brian was on the Business Operations & Strategy team at Pinterest, where he focused on ad monetization and marketplace dynamics. Prior to Pinterest, he was a fintech investor at LLR Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm. Brian started his career as an investment banker in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology, Media and Telecom group, where he advised on capital raises, corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions for companies in the consumer internet, media and entertainment sectors.
Brian graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Strategic Management, Operations, and Retailing.
