Wenqi Chen

Wency is a communications manager for China, based out of Shanghai.

In her role, she is responsible for marketing, public relations, and communications across the region. Before joining Cathay Capital, Wency was a tech&business reporter and news editor, covering China’s dynamic technology scene. She worked for Chinese self-media Deep Echo (深响) and 36Kr’s international arm KrAsia. She has also contributed to Rest of World, Wired, The World of Chinese, Pandaily, Nikkei Asia Review, etc.

Wency graduated from Columbia Journalism School with a master’s degree.
