At CathCare, we understand the struggles and challenges that come with receiving long-term IV treatment. Our founder, Ellie Hunter, personally experienced the difficulties of a rare tick-borne disease and the challenges of finding the right treatment. 

During her journey, she discovered a need for a better solution to keep her IV catheter clean and secure. She patented her solution, the PortPouch, and teamed up with her colleague and fellow entrepreneur, Kerrie Burke, to bring it to the market.
