The Cathedral of Christ the King is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. Founded in 1937, it is the home to almost 6,000 parish families. We serve our parishioners and greater Atlanta through the work of more than 100 ministries. The Cathedral of Christ the King is the seat of the Archbishop of Atlanta, Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM, and led by our rector, Monsignor Francis McNamee.

The Music and Worship team at the Cathedral of Christ the King is responsible for enhancing liturgical celebrations through the integration of music. This team, comprising the Director of Music, Staff Soprano, Staff Accompanist, and Associate Organist, collaborates to provide musical accompaniment for Masses, special services, and events, enriching the spiritual experience for parishioners and facilitating worship.
