Ian Whitfield

Ian Whitfield is a Senior Analyst at CATHEXIS, supporting Department of Defense initiatives since July 2023. With a background as a Military Police Officer in the Army National Guard since July 2018, Whitfield completed the Basic Officer Leader Course in October 2021 and became a Field Artillery Officer after receiving a commission from the New Mexico Military Institute in 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a Knowledge Management Consultant at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency from June 2022 to July 2023, where Whitfield contributed to industrial security efforts. An early career internship with the Ohio House of Representatives involved managing communications and logistics for the 73rd District. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in National Security Policy Studies from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Arts in Security and Intelligence from The Ohio State University, and an Associate of Arts in Political Science and Government from New Mexico Military Institute.
